{"id":872,"date":"2026-01-05T10:02:39","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T18:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mvpb.org\/?p=872"},"modified":"2026-06-01T09:41:48","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T17:41:48","slug":"information-for-spring-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mvpb.org\/?p=872","title":{"rendered":"Information for Spring 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hello MVPB Families and Friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re thrilled to announce that Murrieta Valley Pony Baseball Spring 2026 Registration is officially OPEN!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This upcoming season will feature:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Opening Day festivities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team photos, uniforms, and a league-wide fundraiser<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>End-of-season tournaments and championship celebrations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Snack bar, family fun, and plenty of baseball memories in the making<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NEW FOR 2026 \u2014 MVPB CHAMPIONS DIVISION!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to introduce our brand-new Champions Division, designed to give every child \u2014 regardless of special needs \u2014 the opportunity to participate in America\u2019s favorite pastime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This inclusive division welcomes players who are autistic, visually impaired, emotionally or mentally challenged, or have conditions such as Down Syndrome or Cerebral Palsy that affect mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our MVP players (Most Valuable Players) will experience the joy of baseball in a supportive, adaptive environment focused on teamwork, inclusion, confidence, and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All players are welcome \u2014 because every player deserves the chance to play!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Age 4 &#8211; Adult Ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information on our Champions Division, please contact:<br>\ud83d\udce7 playeragent@mvpb.org<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcc5 Important Dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Assessments<\/strong>: January 24, 2026 (MVPB Complex, time TBD)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Teams Formed<\/strong>: Week of January 26, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Practices Begin<\/strong>: February 2, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Games Start<\/strong>: February 21, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Championship Day \/ Season End<\/strong>: May 16, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Holiday Breaks:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No games or events Presidents\u2019 Day Weekend (Feb 13\u201316)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No games or events during MVUSD Spring Break (Mar 29\u2013Apr 5)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcb0 Registration Details:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Early Bird Discount: Save $15 when you register by Dec 14, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Late Fee: +$50 after Jan 25, 2026 (if space permits)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refund Policy: Refunds available until Jan 24, 2026 (minus $75 processing fee)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>League Age: Determined by player\u2019s age as of April 30, 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Players requesting to \u201cplay up\u201d must evaluate in both divisions and submit a request to:<\/em><\/strong><br>\ud83d\udce7 playeragent@mvpb.org<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\ude4c Volunteer &amp; Sponsor Info:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A $100 Non-Volunteer Fee per family is refundable after completing 8 volunteer hours (e.g., snack bar, Opening Day, evaluations).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each team must secure a $300 Team Sponsor before uniforms and caps are issued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Interested in managing a team?
